Whodini handmade accessories are probably one of the hottest accessory lines in the market right now. Every piece from Whodini is one-of-a-kind, each with its very own unique look. Each item in his collection is hand cut, screened, and sewn by one man, Jay Pezzelle. We like to call him Mr. Whodini. Pezzelle is a behind the scenes guy who has developed Whodini into what is known as an anti-hype company.
Whodini started with just 40 bags that were soon sold out in stores around the world within days. (There we go hyping a company that does not want to be hyped). Whodini is currently sold in Subject Matter at The Lab in Costa Mesa, Shuebox in Seal Beach, The Newsstand in Long Beach, Dali Boutique in Newport Beach, chocosho.com, copacetique.com, and three others in Kansas City, Portland, and England. Pezzelle chose all these stores because he felt they had a good vibe.
Whodini tries to keep itself separate from the rest of the fashion world. Mr. Whodini explains:
“I try not to say Whodini is in the fashion realm, I just make stuff that I like and I would like others to be wearing, I like to say its fun over fashion...honestly I try not to get to wrapped into what everyone else is doing. I think it’s a lot of the same stuff and it really bums me out. Not saying Whodini is just the best thing out, hardly, but I just like to keep focused on my stuff versus checking out everyone else's stuff.”
Whodini is fun, functional, and one-of-a-kind. What more could you want in an accessory?
